British Railways' standard 2-10-0 freight locomotives, with 5'0" driving wheels and 2 outside cylinders 20" x 28". They were built from 1954 onwards and construction is still proceeding in 1958. Nos. 92020-92029 are fitted with Franco-Crosti boilers. The only steam locomotives now being built. |
