Class V1 & V3. Gresley 5'8" 3-cylinder 2-6-2T's, 92 engines built between 1932 and 1939. The last 10 were built new with higher boiler pressure and classified V3, but are identical in appearance with the later locomotives of class V1. Certain engines of class V1 have been rebuilt as class V3. |
