Historical Data

Designed primarily for freight interchange work between yards (such as Feltham - Brent), they were tested unsatisfactorily on local passenger workings. Despite this, they were painted green and were know as 'Green Tanks' by the crews, to distinguish them from the 'Black Tank' G16's.
