Description (1957)

Hawksworth 2-cylinder 4-6-0's, with 6' 3" wheels and 280 lbs. pressure, built 1945-7. The class was named after Counties. No 1000 was built with a double blast pipe and chimney and recently some others have been similarly fitted.
